"The best choice thus far in my college experience was joining Gamma. I am so glad I took the first opportunity available to become a part of this amazing organization. The five pillars of Gamma Alpha Omega (Honesty, Integrity, Leadership, Scholarship, and Unity) are attributes and qualities that I am proud to stand for and ones in which I strive for daily. Gamma is not only teaching me how to become a better leader and a more contributing member to my community, but it has also brought me wonderful sisters, great memories, and tons of laughter. I look forward to the rest of my time at WSU with anticipation of "great Gamma things!!"

"The day I finally decided to rejoin the GAO family, was when I got tired of hearing from every other organization how GAO needed some guidance, and yet nobody took initiative. Even though I did my part on defending GAO, since I know what it represents, people would still voice their opinion. I chose to come back to GAO because of its principles, Honesty, Integrity, Leadership, Scholarship and Unity. They all describe a part of me, and they are all principals that EVERY women of color should hold upon their arrival here at WSU, or any other school of higher education. In the near future, I want to advocate for these women of color to make sure they: 1) get a role model they can identify with, 2) get the support and encouragement necessary, and 3) to follow up on them to make sure that they set long-term goals to better their self-esteem and secure their future. I know that every women of color deserves that!"
