The Sister of the Month for October is none other than our President, Ms. Laura Leon. She has done a great job thus far in all of her roles in the house this semester. She holds several positions in the house such as president, academic chair, and ChiLaStAl representative. She excels not only in her positions in GAO, but also in her academic career. She is in her last semester here at WSU and is studying Criminal Justice, Sociology and Spanish. Ms. Leon will be graduating in December and will be studying abroad in the spring in Guanajuato, Mexico. We wish Ms. Leon all the best in her endeavors and thank her all her dedication and hard work she has put into Gamma.

Q. What is your most fond memory at WSU other than being part of GAO?
Having amazing sisters and friends.  Pullman is a college town that is full of nothing but wheat fields, and truthfully if this town has taught me something is that one's environment is only as good as those who surround you.

Q. If you could go back in time and change one thing, would you take the opportunity and if so, what is the one thing you would change?
I wouldn't go back and change a thing.  I am a strong believer in living life to the best of one's ability.  If at the moment that the situation calls for an action... I ACT!  All actions have consequences but, if at that moment that action was the right thing to do, then it's easy to say..... I HAVE NO REGRETS!!!!  Besides, any mistakes that I have committed in my past have only made me learn, making, shaping, and molding ME!

Q. How has GAO changed or impacted your life?
Gamma has offered many things to my life.  I can't explain... words wouldn't do it justice.  I have been blessed with many true friendships, sisterly bonds, and excellent skills, and abilities.  It has made me a better woman, both inside and out!

Q. Besides MySpace, Facebook, Messengers and internet, what are some of your hobbies?
Ok... so we all know am addicted to all of the above!  I like to watch sex in the City, Laugh, dance, and hang out with my girls.

Q. What is your favorite animal and why?
Wow... really?!  The one animal that represents me... Whom I represent..The White Bengal Tiger with Blue eyes...  TIGRESA!!!!!!!!

Q. What is the first thing you say to yourself in the morning?
Dang......... Here's another one.........

Q. After you leave the Pullman campus in December....What do you think you will miss most about Gamma?
All the stress...... haha... LOL... Kidding!  I think I will have to actually quote one of my fellow sorors when I say, "Gamma is life... the rest is just details".   Gamma is something that will always be part of me... All the fun times, the hard work, the tears, the stress it all comes together! I seriously will miss all of it.  I can't just say one thing... but of course I will miss My sorors, my sands, everyone!

***One last thing to my Sorors here at WSU:****
I am really happy that I had Gamma in my life as an Undergrad here at WSU.... Be proud to be who WE are...You see a Gamma is not made... she is born...  And not everyone can have the pleasure to PRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAA!!! I Love you all!!!
